We’re excited to announce our first 2023 book club as part of our Mindfulness Book Club series. Starting this series with Lovingkindness by Sharon Salzberg sets a nice intention as we meet with family and friends this holiday season. 

Lovingkindness is one of the most revered mindfulness books for good reason, as it introduces its readers to the revolutionary practice of lovingkindness and its power to change our lives. This book includes many exercises that invite us to cultivate compassion for ourselves and others, ultimately helping us to find greater joy and lightness in our hearts. In this book club, Jaclyn Thomas, LMSW, will lead you in meditations and exercises from the book. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect and share with others.

We will meet bi-weekly on Tuesdays from 6-7 PM EST on Zoom, starting on November 7th. The specific dates are 11/7, 11/21, 12/5, and 12/19. This group is open to everyone, and it will be conducted in English. Please note that—although this will be conducted by a SoHo CBT + M therapist—this is not group therapy. It’s a book club.

The $100 cost includes all four meetings. And, if you sign-up by October 25th, you’ll receive a free copy of the book (if you live in the United States)! Already have a copy? No problem! Just give the extra one to a friend or family member (it makes a great present).
